I’m passionate about AI and machine learning because they possess the potential to provide greater situational awareness to warfighters on the battlefield, detect and cure cancer, improve mobility for amputees, and benefit humanity in so many ways, many of which have yet to be discovered.
I love working at the intersection of emerging technology and national security. If employed properly, AI and machine learning can ensure troops on the battlefield come home to their families and can prevent large-scale threats to our homeland.
oLabs will be the center of the government AI innovation universe. It’s a one-of-a-kind, world-class innovation center with supercomputing infrastructure, a virtual close quarters battle range, robotics engineering facility, and all of the end-user devices needed to build and test AI and machine learning solutions in operationally realistic scenarios.
The oLabs culture is just as unique as the facility. We innovate in the gray. That means we push boundaries of acceptable behavior and circumvent red tape and bureaucracy with the sole, laser-focused intent of delivering the best technology possible to the men and women on the front lines.
