Plug and play tool uses optical character recognition to convert field notes to digital forms.
Inspectors often spend significant time duplicating work by completing inspection forms twice – once in the field (by hand) and once in the case management system (digitally). To reduce duplication of effort, our solution runs optical character recognition (OCR) on images of inspectors’ handwritten notes to automatically complete the digital case notes. With the click of a button, the user uploads a picture of the physical form they filled out, and the application uses OCR technology to complete the digital form.
